AJ Stocker is a highly accomplished marketing, loyalty, and payments executive with over two decades of experience working with some of the most renowned brands in America such as Nike, Victoria’s Secret, Wawa, Meijer, Best Buy, Subway, and Verizon. To her clients, AJ brings a digital-first mindset to omnichannel engagement. She is known for merging the art and science of data, research, and creative thinking to drive revenue, deeper, more profitable customer relationships, and value for the brands with whom she works. Her passion leads to achieving corporate goals in industries including financial services, mega-brand retail, travel and entertainment, QSR, e-commerce, and start-ups. She drives customer acquisition, engagement, and retention through innovative digital-led strategies and breakthrough tactics across the entire customer journey. AJ has a knack for connecting what’s now, new, and next in products, loyalty, marketing, and payments.
AJ previously served as Vice President of Marketing and Loyalty Strategic Consulting at Kobie Marketing, a global leader in brand loyalty and program management solutions. She led the Retail Vertical marketing and loyalty strategy team and the consumer and market insights and research teams. AJ was accountable for developing and optimizing loyalty programs and digital-led marketing strategies for brands like Nike, CO-OP Financial Services, Williams-Sonoma, Inc., Best Buy, Subway, Ann Taylor, Lane Bryant, and Verizon. She has a proven track record of delivering incremental sales growth, optimizing loyalty program performance, and developing strategic partnerships.
AJ was also the Head of Marketing and Loyalty Strategy at Alliance Data Card Services (now dba Bread Financial) which provides credit card programs, digital payments, and loyalty services. She was responsible for creating and executing portfolio strategies for 160 clients, as well as leading the enterprise customer messaging and standards team. Her client portfolio included Restoration Hardware, Signet Jewelers, Victoria’s Secret, Wayfair, Ulta Beauty, Meijer, Camping World, Caesar’s Entertainment, and other national brands. AJ also served as a Senior Strategist and Senior Account Executive where she achieved impressive results in growing client revenue, member acquisition, and retention rates. AJ held marketing, media, creative operations leadership roles at Big Lots, Inc., Victoria’s Secret, The Longaberger Company, and We Do-The Wedding Store, Inc. A professional highlight includes her production of an award-winning TV campaign for Big Lots – ranked 3 of the Top 10 holiday commercials that year.
AJ extends her talents beyond the workplace. She currently acts as the Executive Director and Advisory Board Member of CBUS Retail – a non-profit association providing resources, support, and networking to retail professionals, service partners, and students in the greater Columbus area. She also actively volunteers for causes that support children, hunger, and education. Growing up in the rolling hills of the Appalachian Mountains and now makes her home in Grove City, Ohio with her teenage son and two dogs. AJ is inspired everyday by single moms who get the job done while raising a family on their own.
