A driven and accomplished executive and consultant, Bill Daw’s expertise lies in top management roles responsible for company P&L performance, plant operations, HR, customer service, financial planning, reporting, and analysis. Bill boasts comprehensive IT experience in technical operations, programming, upgrades, and conversions.
Before joining Impact 21, Bill served as Controller at Majors Management, where he oversaw Retail Fuel and Property Management divisions and software conversion plans. He strategized growth in both consignment and company run sites, and trained staff in accounting, supported growth with acquisitions, and provided analysis identifying areas of improvement. As Controller at Terrible Herbst Inc., Bill managed and cross-trained all accounting personnel to maximize efficiency and processes. At Giant Oil Inc., also serving as Controller, Bill improved the accounting department infrastructure and financial planning, while spearheading the roll-out of franchise plans. He developed the scanning and Pricebook program from scratch, and implemented the 401K program while generating budgets, improving monthly analysis, and identifying financial strengths and weaknesses.
As CFO at Midway Oil Corporation, Bill directed all financial, administration, HR, and IT activities for convenience stores and gas stations, Dunkin franchises, and external fuel dealers. He established fiscal policies and procedures achieving objectives in procurement, inventory, and financial performance. Bill allocated resources, arranged bank funding and financial plans, identified theft, and created reporting to maximize gross profits. By streamlining payroll processes, Bill designed and developed programs to strengthen the IT infrastructure and improved administrative strength. He successfully transformed an unprofitable Smuggler’s Notch Inn into a viable venture by identifying areas of weakness, improving the business philosophy, and implementing strategies to increase revenues and projected goals for marketing, finance, and customer service. At Bella Rosa Industries, Bill transformed the fledgling start-up, into a top contender of the shutter industry in Southern California, with retail expansions into Las Vegas and Phoenix.
Currently living in Suwanee, GA, Bill has resided and worked in many great cities but has an affinity for Las Vegas and where he hopes to spend his retirement. He enjoys traveling both domestically and abroad and often combines his love of travel with his enthusiasm for sports, attending sporting events at venues across the country with lifelong friends. Bill appreciates the movie genre as an art form and can easily spend an afternoon watching classic movies. Recently, Bill ventured into volunteerism with Suwanee area soup kitchens to better connect with his community.
