Program Manager
The Impact 21 Program Manager will assist the assigned Practice Leads with the operations for their Practice within Impact 21. This role encompasses business development, client relations, resource management, project quality assurance and financial responsibilities. The Program Manager will work closely with the Impact 21 PMO and Practice Lead to execute the Practice’s growth strategies.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Act as a liaison for project teams on all initiatives and ensures that key activities, documentation, and status updates are being done consistently within assigned Practice(s)
- Manage Project Administration and Execution within assigned Practice(s)
- Work with Relationship Manager(s) in creation of proposal deliverables, as needed.
- Development of project schedule(s) and action items with Project Manager(s)
- Oversee all deliverables and delivery to client
- Ensures adherence to project governance / consistency among projects
- Manage interdependencies between all initiatives and provide insights and recommendations on how best to leverage Impact 21 resources
- Project Budget Management

Project Manager
The Project Manager position entails managing a wide range of Petroleum and Convenience Retail projects for a variety of clients. Project Managers interact with all levels and departments as a client as well as our internal team of industry experts and third parties to ensure a client’s project is delivered on-time, on-budget, and meeting all of the key deliverables. This position contributes to changes in project management processes and procedures to improve overall deliverables and client interaction. In addition, the position will act as a subject matter expert on a variety of projects in areas of their expertise.
The Project Manager is a contract role with responsibility for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with Impact 21 company strategy, commitments, and goals.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead the planning and implementation of projects using MS Project Server working with the Project Sponsor, Impact 21 team, third parties, and the client members
- Assemble and coordinate project team
- Manage project resource allocation
- Ensure all team members are using the appropriate tools and resources; documenting all work on the internal collaboration system
- Constantly monitor and regularly report on progress of the project to all stakeholders

Education and Experience
- Qualification in project management or equivalent – PMP designation preferred: Direct work experience in project management capacity in technology, loyalty marketing, retail, refining, or strategic business projects
- Management and Leadership Experience: Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management, and change management; Direct work experience leading teams with external team members or indirect team members is preferred
- Minimum of 10 years in the Fuel and Convenience or associated industries
- BS in Business; MBA desired

The Category Manager / Foodservice (CMF) Sr. Principal Consultant works with Impact 21 clients on strategies and initiatives that bring brands, category management, and merchandising identities and practices to life. This is done by connecting with our clients’ customers, understanding their shopping mission, and ensuring optimal strategies and tactics that ensure exceptional execution. The CMF Sr. Consultant is a visionary, strategic leader that likes to drive innovation and inspire transformation to help our clients and the CMF practice achieve its purpose.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Develop short- and long-term strategic brand management, category management and merchandising initiatives to achieve our clients’ purposes and brand promises
- Use customer data to understand customer insights to inform brand, category, and/or merchandising strategies and decisions
- Drive engagement with senior leaders and client teams on all projects to ensure optimal impact
- Create and deliver compelling presentations and training programs to support client projects and industry initiatives
- Work with clients to ensure integration of CMF strategies and tactics with enabling technologies such as pricebooks, merchandising solutions, inventory management, digital programs, etc.
- Work with the CMF Practice Lead and Impact 21 sales team to identify new business opportunities at existing and potential clients – support development of proposals to gain new business
