Client Challenges
- Company was migrating from an integrated Point of Sale (POS) solution to a semi-integrated solution to streamline managing Payment Card Industry (PCI) and EMV requirements
- Company needed to upgrade all Point-of-Sale software and add PIN pads to all stores
- Company also integrating new store-to-store inventory management system in order to launch virtual merchandising and endless aisle to improve customer experience
Solutions Delivered
- Managed high priority projects to upgrade all existing POS software and applications including Personal Identification Number (PIN) pads
- Supported Project Management Office (PMO) to manage entire upgrade process; led work stream efforts to identify and integrate business processes to support merchandising initiatives and endless aisle
- Managed all aspects of integration of EMV-capable PIN pads
- Managed the EMV payment certification process for the PIN pads in concert with new payment application software
- Oversaw the testing protocols for all software / hardware changes including regression analysis around completion of third-party deliverables for software and hardware
- Tracked progress of the software deployment across the retail stores
- Identified, tracked and communicated new risks and potential issues in work streams as they arose from deployment
