Salaria and Taylor fill new roles in Impact 21 and bring deep expertise in Fresh Food Program Development and Food Service Strategy.
Impact 21, a retail consulting, analytics and services company, announced the appointment of Liza Salaria and Michael Taylor as its newest Principal Consultants. Salaria and Taylor will further drive foodservice to help C-store and retail clients achieve their goals and initiatives.

Salaria brings innovative leadership to Impact 21. She taps into her expertise in small format merchandising, marketing, branding, and business strategy to help companies realize their business objectives. Her deep background in foodservice and merchandising, paired with her knack for strategic thinking, enable Salaria to lead merchandising and marketing strategies that will result in achieved sales and gross profit goals. Salaria extends her expertise, particularly in fresh food program development, as a NACS speaker.
Native to Pennsylvania, Salaria graduated from Indiana University of PA with both a Bachelor of Science in Finance and an MBA. She has attended many business leadership programs from Duquesne, Carnegie Mellon, and Cornell. Salaria previously served as Senior Director of Brand Concept Development at Sunoco and has past experience as Senior Vice President of Marketing & Merchandising at Mid-Atlantic Convenience Stores and various senior merchandising and foodservice roles at Giant Eagle.

When it comes to foodservice, Taylor is the go-to man. A proven expert in all areas of foodservice from food handling, preparation, selection, and quality assurance to the final presentation, along with Standards of Operations composition, Taylor guides organizations toward growth and profitability. He brings his demonstrated ability to create impactful programs, procedures, and processes to the table. As a results-driven, management professional, Taylor has been recognized for excellence in financial planning and organizational/staff development. He applies his professional mission to all engagements: Work to first understand process and expectations then create a simple but sustainable process to yield immediate results.
Growing up in Georgia, Taylor stayed true to his southern roots, attending University of South Carolina to gain his Bachelor of Science in Management Science and Southern Methodist University as an EMBA Candidate. Throughout his career, Michael has managed, consulted for, and owned restaurants. Prior to Impact 21, Michael held several senior positions at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, TGI Fridays, LSG Sky Chefs, and the All Sports Restaurant Group.
