Lesley Saitta will present the role diversity plays in shaping future leaders in the retail and convenience industry.
Impact 21, a retail consulting, analytics and services company, announced its CEO, Lesley Saitta, will be presenting at the inaugural Convenience Store News Future Leaders in Convenience Conference and Awards Program. The conference is being held November 15, 2018 in Indianapolis. The Future Leaders in Convenience (FLIC) celebrates and develops young convenience store leaders aged 35 and under who are at the forefront of the industry, and who are making positive contributions to their companies.
Saitta was a 2017 Woman of the Year honoree by Convenience Store News’ Top Women in Convenience (TWIC). At the TWIC event, Saitta was interviewed regarding her views on the role and importance of nurturing and developing women in the retail and convenience industry. Because of her passion for diversity and raising up the next generation, Saitta was invited to speak at the FLIC event on diversity.
“I am very passionate about diversity and I am excited for the opportunity to speak at the FLIC conference,” said Saitta. “Diversity is crucial for growth in any industry and an important initiative for many of our clients. We have worked hard to increase the diversity of our team at Impact 21 the past 20 years and we are committed to creating more opportunities in the future. That’s why I am happy to be a part of this event. Our entire Impact 21 team extends its congratulations to all the honorees.”
Saitta will be sharing the stage with other convenience store leaders, including Jay Ricker, chairman of Ricker Oil Co, Dave Riser, Vice President of RAI and Van Tarver, President & CEO, Van Tarver Group.
