To our Clients, Partners and Industry Colleagues:
First and foremost, we want to offer our sincere gratitude and thanks to all the healthcare, retail and other essential frontline people, who are working tirelessly to support all our communities. We are humbled by their daily acts of service and bravery. We are also incredibly proud to be associated with some of the finest retailers in the world, who are supporting their store teams in extraordinary ways.
If there is some reassurance amid the fear and ambiguity, it’s the collaboration and innovation we have witnessed as people come together to find solutions to healthcare, online education, business models and safe social interaction. Cooperation gets us further, faster. And, as difficult as it is, the social distancing efforts appear to be working. With no playbook for how to react in this environment, we, like many others, lean on our core values to guide us.
No one is certain yet on the full impact on our businesses or our customers except that things won’t end as abruptly as they began. But it will end, even as a “new normal” emerges. Demand may surge; but consumers will emerge scarred yet smarter, hungry for connection yet mindful of safety. Retail, as well as other industries, need to be ready. History tells us to prepare. So, we continue to work and think about how retailers, supply chain partners and all of us supporting the channel will adapt.
With the situation changing rapidly, we remain flexible and focused on the needs at hand. For those clients and industry colleagues not used to working remotely, we are providing support to help establish protocols and tools to support this “new normal.” We have also been reviewing and writing content, providing insights, recommending and/or providing resources, doing consultations as urgent matters arise and often acting as a second line of defense. If you have questions or need help, just give us a call. All we ask is that you “pay it forward” when you get the chance. We are also contributing insights to other industry resources so be on the lookout for these.
We very much look forward to seeing everyone in person soon! Until then, stay safe and be well. We’re all in this together!
