Impact 21 was founded in 1998 by industry experts and former retailers, Lesley Saitta & Lisa Stewart. For nearly 20 years, we have remained privately held, headquartered in Lexington, KY and owned by the two managing partners. Lesley and Lisa, along with their management and consulting teams of industry experts, share a common vision: to be the global provider of end-to-end business & technology services and solutions to the petroleum/convenience, retailing, refining, and foodservice industries.

Impact 21 has been heavily focused on retail management and automation, requirements and sourcing, as well as category management, since our company’s inception. While these continue to be core competencies, the types of projects we are engaged in have changed and grown in direct correlation to the opportunities and challenges facing our industries, the talents of our dynamic team members, and a more diverse client base. Our client base includes convenience and food retailers, refiners/marketers, grocery wholesalers, technology & equipment providers, investor groups, packaged goods companies, software providers and industry associations such as NACS (The Association for Convenience and Petroleum Retailing), Conexxus, NRF (National Retail Federation), CSP (Convenience Store Petroleum) University and many others.
It is our mission to understand and engage in all aspects of the industries and clients we serve. Everyone on our team is actively engaged in industry and trade associations, many in leadership roles. We currently serve on the Convention Committee for NACS as well as the Supplier Committee, in addition to being moderators and speakers for many trade shows every year. We created and facilitate the NACS Category Management Framework and on-line training programs and are sought out for speaking engagements across a wide variety of audiences.
